Without a Goal Plan.

Whoops!

Yes, it’s a mistake that I made.
And even though I know every business or project must have a goal, I still made a mistake.
However, it’s still a good thing that I can still correct that mistake.

So, how do you exactly create an Income Goal Plan?

You must be thinking, ‘well I know my goal and that’s to earn $100,000 a month’.
Well, how do you exactly do that?

I knew I wanted to earn at least $5,000 a month.
But when my mentor asked me, ‘How am I going to do that?’, I have no answer.
And that’s when my mentor pointed out…
I don’t know the answer because I don’t have a solvable problem.

What a solvable problem means is that I should have a benchmark.
That way I know how many people I should talk to in order to achieve my target sales volume and ultimately my target income.

And that’s what I’m going to show to you today.
I’m going to show you how to reverse engineer what you need to do to achieve the result that you want.

Ok, to reverse engineer the steps you need to take, we’re going to need do a Goal Planning.
I created a Goal Planning Worksheet that you can download and use for your business.

This worksheet will help provide your business the direction it needs, so you don’t have to spend time and effort pointlessly without producing the result that you want.

And without further ado, let’s get started.

How To Create Your Income Goal Plan

We will do the Goal Planning in an annual basis.
You should list down 3 goals.

First goal is your target which is the minimum number you should achieve,
Second goal is a number that goes beyond your target and really Wows you,
Third goal is a number that goes through the roof and completely blows your mind.

For example, let’s say your annual target goal is $20,000.
And then, something that is beyond your target and will make you say “Wow! This is amazing!” is $50,000.
Finally, the goal that will make you say, “Holy molly! This blows my mind!” is $100,000.
That’s how you set your income goals.

Next, how much is the price of your product?
And then base on the product price, identify the sales volume that you need in order to hit your goals.

You do this by dividing your goal by the price of your product.
So, our annual goal is $20,000 you divide it by the price of $50.
This means you need to be able to sell 400 pieces of your product to hit the $20,000 annual income target.

Now that you know how many pieces you need to sell, it’s time to identify how many people you actually need to present your product to in order to sell 400 pieces.
We can do this by dividing your sales volume by the conversion rate.

According to research, the average conversion rate across all industries is 2%.
If you do not know your own conversion rate, use this percentage.
For example, your target sales volume is 400 pieces, divide it by 2%, that gives 20,000.
This means you need to get your product in front of at least 20,000 people to hit your target of 400 product sales.

You can also use this same goal planning in your network marketing business.
If you are building your team and you want to grow your network, all you need to do is change the currency into number of new members.
So, how many new members is your target every year to grow your network marketing business?
